Sometimes back, popular comedian, Eric Omondi, disclosed that he is set to get married before the end of the year.
Although many took this as a joke, the witty comedian is in a serious relationship with an Italian beauty and word has it that they are set to walk down the aisle soon.

While speaking in a recent interview, Eric disclosed how he met his Italian beauty and their future plans. Apparently, he first met his new sweetheart through her mother during the much hyped Kenyan at 50 event. “We met through her mother during the event when she introduced her as one of my fans and since then, the rest is history,”

He disclosed. The talented comedian added that his new girlfriend is not only beautiful but also has a cool personality. “I really love this lady, not because she is beautiful but because of her personality, it’s rare to find a beautiful lady with an equally beautiful personality,”

He added. Their wedding plan is said to be at an advanced stage since their families have met and discussed on the way forward. Eric’s new girlfriend is also planning to re-locate from Italy to Kenya so that they can start a family.

During its two year run, the project will award approximately 100 major reporting grants and provide mentoring to support the best ideas for stories on development issues. Journalists who produce the best stories published or broadcasted in media that reach African audiences, will win a major international reporting trip.
